Equities - Tim was a sell-side analyst for Deutsche Bank based in London. He initially specialised in pan-European real estate covering companies such as British Land, Land Securities, Rodamco and Unibail (equivalent to Australian LPT's / US REITs). He then specialised in telecoms covering companies such as Vodafone and British Telecom. His clients were the major US and European financial institutions (fund managers, pension fund managers, hedge fund managers) based primarily in London, New York, Paris, Milan, Madrid and Zurich.

Managed funds - In Sydney, Tim worked on a team at Deutsche Bank that successfully launched four, concentrated international equity funds on the Australian market in 2000.

US experience - In 2002 Tim was selected as part of Deutsche Bank's graduate trainee program based in New York and spent time working both on Wall Street and on the New York Stock Exchange Floor.

Exotic derivatives - Tim worked in the Specialised Derivatives Group at HSBC in London developing a risk management system for their highly structured, open OTC derivative positions (primarily foreign exchange and fixed income related).

Research - Additionally, Tim is responsible for constructing and approving Quantum's Authorised Product List which contains over 50 product providers and more than 200 products.
